Dream a Dream Animal

Author's Note: Our topic for Writing Circles was Dream Animal. I just wanted to write a simple poem to express what animals I would LOVE to have.


If I were to dream a dream
Animal
That nobody has
For a pet
It would be a seal
Seals are soft
When they are babies
They are cute
And they are fluffier
Than a cloud
I want one
That would never get bigger
But if I were to dream
A dream animal
That is more realistic
I would have a dog
A Papillon to be exact
For I can never get one
Unless I dream
